CHRISTIAN EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES
Our goal at Gaddis is to offer a diverse and well-rounded Christian Education program for all ages. In order to do this, we are offering a variety of Sunday school classes as well as weekday and evening studies. Our hope is to offer our congregation and community opportunities to grow spiritually as we all seek to discern God’s will for our lives.

Children's Church

  • 11:00 - 11:15 - Children meet in sanctuary for opening announcements
  • 11:15 - noon   - Children's Church meets in the portable buildings
  • Children's church is a worship service designed for those from 4 years old through 5th grade. Lots of singing, movement, crafts and FUN!!!!
    Children's Church begins Sunday August 3rd, 2008.

    CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL

  • Nursery
    Gaddis Memorial UMC has an excellent nursery for children ages birth to 3 years.
  • PK thru 5th Grade
    Classes are divided into 1) PK and K, 2) 1st and 2nd Grades, 3) 3rd, 4th and 5th Grades.
    Here at Gaddis, we offer exciting, challenging Christian education for our children. The children are nurtured and enveloped in a safe and loving environment as they experience God’s care and love for them. They are presently working with an exciting and fun-filled curriculum called "The One Room Sunday School" where each level is age appropriate and the students learn through music, movement, art and reading.

    YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL

  • Jr High - 6th, 7th and 8th Grades
  • Sr High - 9th through 12th Grades
     You are wanted and needed in Sunday school! We study and discuss Biblical issues that are relevant for teenagers, as we deal with what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ in our present world.
  • METHODIST YOUTH FELLOWSHIP (MYF) - Check out the UMYF page for complete details about their activities.
  • We also have MISSION OPPORTUNITIES for our youth. These opportunities involve reaching out to our community or to other communities in the name of Christ. We work together and learn what it means to be disciples of Christ.

    ADULT CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

  • Adult Sunday School
    We offer one adult Sunday school class at GMUMC.
    Rev. Jason Teague leads a study on the The Book of Acts. Class begins at 9:45am and meets in the Discipleship classroom.
  • Adult Weekday Studies
    We also offer two weekly adult studies:
         - Wednesdays, 10:00am - the Gospel of Matthew, led by Rev. Teague, meets in the Administration Building conference room.
         - Thursdays, 6:00pm-7:30pm - The Shack, led by Mary Sansom & Barb Petermann, meets in the Administration Building conference room.
